A delicious and comforting peach cobbler with a sweet, buttery topping, perfect for any occasion.

cold butter sliced in 1/2 tablespoons pieces

buttermilk

Instructions
Drain peaches and pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle 1/3 cup flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt on peaches; gently stir. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix dry ingredients; whisk egg yolk and buttermilk; combine into dry ingredients to form shaggy dough. Pour over peaches.
Cut butter into 1/2 inch pieces, scatter over mixture, sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake 30-40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
