Delight in these rich, vegan strawberry dark chocolate truffles that combine smooth coconut milk with intense dark chocolate and a hint of strawberry flavor.

Ingredients

Dairy-Free Chocolate

  • 1/2 cup full fat, unsweetened coconut milk (from a well-shaken can)
  • 9 oz dark chocolate (at least 70%)
  • 1 oz freeze dried strawberries
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions 

  • Heat coconut milk until very warm, then pour over chopped dark chocolate. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  • Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 1 hour until firm.
  • Crush freeze dried strawberries into a dust and spread on a plate.
  • Use a spoon to scoop the chocolate mixture, roll into balls, then coat with strawberry dust.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 6 days.

Notes

For best texture, allow the truffles to come to room temperature before serving.
