Delight in these rich, vegan strawberry dark chocolate truffles that combine smooth coconut milk with intense dark chocolate and a hint of strawberry flavor.
Ingredients
Dairy-Free Chocolate
1/2cupfull fat, unsweetened coconut milk (from a well-shaken can)
9ozdark chocolate (at least 70%)
1ozfreeze dried strawberries
1/4tspsea salt
Instructions
Heat coconut milk until very warm, then pour over chopped dark chocolate. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.
Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 1 hour until firm.
Crush freeze dried strawberries into a dust and spread on a plate.
Use a spoon to scoop the chocolate mixture, roll into balls, then coat with strawberry dust.
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 6 days.
Notes
For best texture, allow the truffles to come to room temperature before serving.
