Ingredients

French Toast

  • 2 slices Classic French Toast
  • 200 g fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 2 tsp lemon zest, grated
  • 1 2 tsp lemon juice, squeezed
  • 60 ml water

Instructions 

  • Prepare the French Toast following the classic recipe.
  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, lemon zest, lemon juice, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 minute. Cool slightly.
  • Top the French Toast with the blueberry sauce and garnish with lemon zest if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh blueberries for the best flavor, and adjust sweetness to taste.
