Ingredients

Canned Peaches

  • 2 can sliced peaches in juice (Use undrained for maximum juiciness)

Cake Mix

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (Sprinkle dry over the fruit for the dump-cake crust)

Spices

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp nutmeg

Butter

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (Melted before drizzling)

Vanilla Extract

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ice Cream

  • 1 serving vanilla ice cream (Serve warm cake with ice cream)

Fresh Peach Slices

  • 1 serving fresh peach slices (Garnish with extra slices)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread the canned peaches evenly in a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Melt the butter and drizzle it over the cake mix. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top.
  • Bake for 40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and garnish with fresh peach slices.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of salt to the butter before drizzling.
