Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Toss peaches with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice; let sit 15 minutes.
Spread peach mixture in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly.
Pour boiling water into the crumb mixture and stir until combined. Drop spoonfuls over peaches.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until topping is golden and filling bubbles. Cool slightly before serving.
