A delightful dessert featuring creamy mango possets served in mango peel cups, topped with caramelized sugar for a crisp finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces mangoes (ripe)
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • cup mango puree
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Sugar for brulee sugar (for caramelizing)

Instructions 

  • Slice mangoes in half, scoop out flesh, and set peel halves aside.
  • Blend mango flesh into puree and measure out ⅓ cup.
  • Heat cream, sugar, and mango puree until just bubbling; remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.
  • Pour mixture into mango peel cups and refrigerate until set, about 4–6 hours.
  • Before serving, sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize with a torch or hot spoon until crisp.

Notes

Ensure the cream mixture does not boil vigorously to prevent curdling.
