A quick and flavorful seafood pasta dish with lemon, garlic, and butter that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

pasta (linguine, spaghetti, or angel hair)
Shrimp

shrimp (peeled)
Butter

butter (unsalted)
Garlic

garlic (minced)
Lemon

lemon (zested + juiced)
Red Pepper Flakes

red pepper flakes (optional)
Pasta Water

pasta water
Salt + Black Pepper

fresh parsley or parmesan (optional)
Instructions
Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; save 1/4 cup of water.
Melt butter and sauté garlic in a skillet; add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side.
Stir in lemon juice, zest, salt, and red pepper flakes.
Add drained pasta and reserved water; toss until coated and glossy.
Garnish with parsley, parmesan, or lemon zest before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
