These nutritious and easy-to-make cookies are perfect for a healthy toddler breakfast or snack, packed with wholesome ingredients and natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Dry ingredients

  • 1-¼ cups gluten free rolled oats
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Wet ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe banana, mashed (about 3.2 oz)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter or nut butter (unsweetened)
  • 1 egg egg (or flax egg)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  • Mix oats, mashed banana, applesauce, nut butter, egg, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Form batter into 1½-2 tablespoon balls and flatten to ½ inch thick on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes until golden around edges.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.
