A quick and flavorful skillet dish combining ground turkey and asparagus in a garlic butter sauce, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Meat

ground turkey

asparagus
(ends trimmed and chopped into 1-inch pieces)

tablespoons
olive oil
Juice from 1 lemon
lemon juice

tablespoons
unsalted butter
((1/2 stick))

cloves
garlic, minced

teaspoons
onion powder

teaspoons
Worcestershire sauce
Fresh
parsley, chopped
(as needed)
Lemon slices
for garnish
to taste
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Add half of the olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook asparagus until barely tender, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Remove to a plate.
Add butter and remaining oil, cook turkey until no longer pink, then add garlic and onion powder until fragrant.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, water, and cook until liquid reduces, about 2 minutes.
Push turkey to one side, add asparagus to the other, spoon sauce over asparagus, top with parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon before serving.
