Ingredients

Peaches

  • 6 to 7 medium fresh peaches, washed and sliced (no peeling necessary)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds, lightly toasted
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • Pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix sliced peaches with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice; set aside.
  • Combine oats, almonds, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Spread peach mixture in a greased 8x8-inch dish. Top with streusel.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbling. Rest 10-15 minutes before serving.
