A simple and delicious peach dessert baked in a cast iron skillet, combining creamy custard with sweet peaches for a comforting treat.
Ingredients
Dough and batter

sliced peeled fresh peaches

Spray and baking

baking spray with flour
(for spraying the skillet)
Instructions
Whisk flour, sugar, and salt; add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract, then whisk until smooth. Whisk in cream and rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 10-inch skillet with baking spray.
Pour half of batter into skillet; bake for 10-15 minutes until almost set.
Mix peaches with 2 tablespoons sugar; arrange on top of partially baked batter.
Pour remaining batter over peaches and bake 40 minutes until golden and set. Cool for 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or at room temperature for best flavor.
