Enjoy this quick and delicious dessert featuring sweet, caramelized peaches cooked to perfection in a skillet.
Ingredients
Peaches

ripe peaches, halved and pitted

tablespoons
unsalted butter

brown sugar

ground cinnamon (optional)

vanilla extract

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
Wash and halve the peaches, removing pits. Slice into wedges if desired.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add brown sugar and stir until combined.
Place peach halves cut side down in the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
Flip peaches and cook for another 3-5 minutes until tender. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and salt, stirring gently.
Remove from heat, garnish with mint, and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of bourbon or lemon juice during cooking.
