Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Core and slice the apples, then toss with lemon juice and place in a baking dish.
Mix cinnamon, brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt; melt butter and vanilla, then combine.
Pour the butter-vanilla mixture over apples, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar, then cover and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
Notes
