A delicious and healthy sweet treat made with dates, nuts, and seeds, shaped into bite-sized balls.

Ingredients

  • 250 grams deseeded dates
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil

Instructions 

  • Add dates to a food processor and pulse until paste-like.
  • Chop nuts and keep aside.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, roast nuts for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add coconut, seeds, and raisins; roast for 2 minutes.
  • Mix in ground dates; form into balls while warm, rubbing ghee on palms.

Notes

Keep the mixture slightly warm for easier shaping.
