A rich and flavorful chicken dish featuring sun-dried tomatoes and a creamy sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • optional fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • optional grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil, sear chicken 5-7 mins per side, then set aside.
  • Sauté onion 3-4 mins, add garlic, cook 1 min.
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes, pour in broth, simmer 3-4 mins.
  • Stir in cream, herbs, simmer 5 mins until thickened.
  • Return chicken to skillet, heat 2-3 mins, garnish, serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.
