Ingredients

  • 4 cups non-fat milk

  • 1 cup Arborio rice

Instructions 

  • Combine rice, 1/4 cup sugar, and spices in a large saucepan.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 35 minutes until thick and rice is soft.
  • Heat strawberries with remaining 2 tablespoons sugar until softened, about 3 minutes.
  • Stir strawberry mixture into the cooked rice pudding.
  • Let cool slightly at room temperature, then serve warm or chilled.
