Instructions
Sauté mushrooms in butter until browned, then add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic and thyme.
Add flour and cook for 1 minute, then gradually whisk in beef broth, simmer until thickened.
Stir in heavy cream and Worcestershire sauce, return beef to skillet, simmer until tender and sauce thickens.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, simmer a bit longer. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
