A quick and nutritious breakfast or snack featuring creamy cottage cheese and ripe avocado on toasted bread.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread (or your favorite bread)

Cottage Cheese

  • 0.5 cup cottage cheese (or as much as you like)

Avocado

  • 1 piece Hass avocado

Lemon Juice

  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt

  • 1 pinch salt (or to taste)

Seasoning

  • to taste everything bagel seasoning

Instructions 

  • Mash the avocado with lemon juice and salt in a small bowl.
  • Toast the bread slices until golden.
  • Spread cottage cheese on each toast.
  • Top with the mashed avocado mixture.
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top and serve.

Notes

Feel free to add fresh herbs or other seasonings for extra flavor.
