A delicious and easy treat combining sweet Medjool dates with rich almond butter and a chocolate coating, topped with nuts and sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Medjool dates, pitted
  • 6 tablespoons almond butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 5.3 ounces dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher), chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped roasted almonds
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions 

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice each date lengthwise, remove pits, and fill with almond butter.
  • Melt chocolate with coconut oil until smooth.
  • Dip stuffed dates into melted chocolate, then place on sheet.
  • Sprinkle with chopped almonds and sea salt, then refrigerate until set.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
