A delightful combination of creamy burrata, sweet caramelized peaches, and crusty bread makes this toast a perfect treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Dairy

  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter or coconut oil
  • 2 ripe peaches peaches, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 4 1/2 - 3/4" thick slices crusty bread (e.g., ciabatta) (sliced lengthwise, then into smaller pieces)
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • balsamic glaze or aged balsamic vinegar for drizzling
  • 1-2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • flaky sea salt for finishing

Instructions 

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add butter or coconut oil, then sauté peaches with brown sugar and salt for 4-5 minutes until caramelized. Set aside.
  • Toast bread slices, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with flaky salt while warm.
  • Top toasts with burrata, add caramelized peaches, then drizzle with balsamic glaze. Finish with orange zest, thyme, and sea salt.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and adjust thyme quantity to taste.
