Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour cake pans.
Mix dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt.
Combine wet ingredients: sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, food color, water. Mix well.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture. Divide batter into pans and bake for 30 minutes.
Let cakes cool. Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla, salt, and icing sugar until smooth. Frost cake.
