Enjoy this warm, caramelized baked peaches topped with vanilla ice cream for a delightful dessert.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 6 pieces ripe but firm peaches (halved and pitted, skin on)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon ginger
  • Pinch salt
  • Vanilla ice cream for topping

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix melted butter, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, and salt in a baking dish.
  • Arrange peach halves cut side up, spoon sauce into crevices.
  • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake 10-15 more minutes.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Use ripe peaches for best flavor and caramelization.
