Bread

  • 4 slices bread, crust removed

Peaches

  • 4 peaches peaches, cut in half and pitted

Sugar

  • 4 tbsp sugar

Butter

  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, cut into 4 pieces

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease an 8-inch pie pan.
  • Arrange bread slices in the pan. Place peach halves on top, cavity side up.
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon sugar and place a piece of butter in each peach cavity.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until peaches are tender and caramelized.
  • Serve warm or chilled, allowing juices to settle before serving.
