Enjoy warm, tender baked apples infused with cinnamon and vanilla for a comforting dessert.

brown sugar

melted butter

lemon juice

corn starch
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Core and slice apples.
Toss apples with lemon juice. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and salt.
Melt butter, stir in vanilla, and pour over apples. Sprinkle dry mix and stir to coat.
Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
Test with a fork; apples should be tender. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of nutmeg or serve with vanilla ice cream.
