Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix flour, sugar, and salt; cut in butter until coarse. Add egg and vanilla, combine.
Press two-thirds of dough into a greased 9x13-inch dish; set aside remaining for topping.
Mix sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, spices, cornstarch, and salt; pour over crust.
Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter; sprinkle over apples.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and golden. Cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
